Model Designs
As we evolve our services, Tiny Roots is beginning to develop models for both moveable and non-moveable tiny homes - tiny homes on wheels and stationary dwelling units on a slab or foundation. We are committed to designing housing under 600 square feet - and building them accessibly, sustainably, and with superior quality.
Stationary, Non-Moveable Tiny Homes
Also known more commonly as primary or accessory dwelling units (ADUs) - these homes are often designed with influence from the primary dwelling or general style of the neighborhood. They are meant to compliment the area and bring overall value to the property. The accessory dwelling model below is a basic rendering that can be modified to meet a variety of needs, styles, sizes, and designs.
The images below are based on a 20x30 footprint, a 600 square foot accessory dwelling that is ready for year-round, full-time living.
Moveable, Tiny Homes on Wheels
Tiny homes on wheels are about function and flexibility with the option to travel and be relocated at any time. They come in a variety of sizes and styles depending on your priorities, budget, and design preferences. Tiny Homes on Wheels (THOWs) are an efficient and optimized lifestyle but are the most likely to run into red tape in certain towns, based on building code. Be sure to conduct your due diligence with town and local building departments.
